The origins of the earth and various plants and animals are introduced to you using three-dimensional exhibitions like a species, materials, models, replica, and images. You can experience and understand this region’s environment in an enjoyable and pleasant way.

This gallery guides you through the history of the earth and various plants and animals native in this area.

We have specimens of insects, plants, shells, and mamals.as well as materials related to Neumann’s elephant.

There are video displaying Kashiwazaki and its four seasons. We also have three computers for you to use to find out more about Kashiwazaki including 3D displays.

In1986, August 16 to 31, The Neumanns elephant was excavated by a study group, which led a team of 780 volunteers in total. During the excavation, many other plants and animals where discovered. Also, by studying the elephant’s teeth, we have been able to study much about Kashiwazaki at that period of time. We hope you to be able to begin to get a feel for how Kashiwazaki was during the time of these amazing animals.
